OUR MISSION: Brooklyn Arts for Kids believes all children are inherently artists by the way they listen, look and play. Through a thoughtful and compassionate art-making process we encourage children to discover their voice and use it.

Belinda and Wally

Belinda Blum, a painter and teaching artist, has been sharing her love of artmaking with children for over twenty years through private classes and in the New York City public schools with Studio in a School, Inc.  She is also a professor at the School for Visual Arts. She received her Masters in Fine Arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2006.  She has exhibited her work in galleries in New York, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Mississippi and France.  www.belindablum.com

Eric “Wally” Wallach has taught students of all ages for over twenty years since 2008 with Theatre Development Fund. He directs, writes  and choreographs shows and has done so since 1990 from Alaska to Paris. His most recent shows include: FLIGHT18: the cosmic joyride, The Breasts of Tiresias: A Surrealist Musical and The Jack of Tarts. For more check out www.ebwally.com
